Fluorophore Labeling Calculator

The Hello Bio Fluorophore labeling calculator gives you an easy way to work out how much fluorescent dye you should add to your protein to ensure optimal labeling. This calculator is ideal for using with our antibody and protein labeling kits and is designed to be used with our Janelia Fluor® Conjugation Protocol.

Simply enter the mass and molecular weight of the protein alongside the dye to conjugate it with and the calculator will tell you the masses and volumes required for optimal labeling. We recommend starting with a Janelia Fluor®: Antibody molar ratio of 15.

Step 1: Enter antibody information
Step 2: Enter Janelia Fluor® information
Step 3: Janelia Fluor® to Antibody ratio
