Voltage-gated Na+ channel activator. Found in the venom of the solitary wasp Anoplius safnariensis. Slows Na+ channel activation, particularly of tetrodotoxin sensitive Na+ channels. Enhances both excitatory postsynaptic potentials (EPSPs) and inhibitory postsynaptic potentials (IPSPs).
