Biological description Selective potassium channel blocker. Inhibits Kv11.1 (hERG) channels (IC50 = 0.32 µM) and rapid delayed-rectifier K+ current (IKr). Increases the duration and refractory period of cardiac action potentials. Shows class III antiarrhythmic actions.
