Biological description Competitive and selective nitric oxide synthase (NOS) inhibitor (IC50 values are 6.6, 4.9 and 3.5 μM for iNOS, nNOS and eNOS respectively). Also inhibits cyclic GMP (IC50 = 2.9 μM). Displays hypertensive properties.
