Biological Data

Biological description Selective class IIa histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitor. Inhibits HDAC4 and HDAC5 in the heart and skeletal muscle and suppresses myogenesis. Also inhibits IL-8 expression and promotes neurite growth. Shows neuroprotective, anti-proliferative and anti-cancer actions. Blood-brain barrier permeable.
