Biological description Antioxidant flavonoid. Potentiates the cytotoxicity of natural killer cells. Shows a calcium channel/CaMK-II dependent modulation of GABAA receptor activity. Shows protective effects against diabetic nephrotoxicity, increases insulin signalling molecules and normalises carbohydrate metabolism products.
