Biological description Potent, selective and non-competitive MAP kinase kinase (MAP2K) inhbitor. Inhibits both MEK-1 and MEK-2 (IC50 values are 72 and 58 nM respectively) while showing little or no effect on many other kinases. Inhibits AP-1 transactivation and shows many other actions. Active in vivo.
