Ionotropic glutamate receptor nomenclature

Ionotropic glutamate receptor nomenclature can be confusing, so here is a handy table to guide you through the past and present nomenclature. Bold text indicates the latest nomenclature adopted by IUHPAR (International Union of basic and clinical pharmacology) in 2008.
